FEATURES :: She has a small birthmark on her left hip in the shape of a dove. Down her spine is a long sort of shell; it's hard but smooth, like a polished rock, reflects all sorts of different colors (depending on the light), and sparkles when hit by sunshine. She also has big, white, retractable wings. The tops of her ears are pointed (like an elf), but they're usually hidden by her hair.
Her navel is pierced, and she has two holes in each earlobe.
CLOTHING STYLE ::Dressy and showy; she likes to look good and stand out. She also wears lots of high heels, even though she's already quite tall.

PETS :: Two dogs; a cute little husky mix named Magenta, and a pomeagle (Pomeranian/beagle mix) named Indigo.
SIGNIFICANT OTHERS :: None yet
LANGUAGES :: English, mainly. But she grew up around a lot of Swiss and Japanese relatives, so she also knows a bit of Italian, Japanese, German, and French.
ABILITIES :: Nobody's sure if it's really if Gift or not, but she has never aged properly; when she was younger, she aged too fast (she had the physical body of a teenager by the time she was 10), then her aging slowed, and for the past three years she seems to be stuck in the physical state of a woman in her early twenties.
She can morph into many different animals, and has pretty good control over this ability. Usually when morphing, she takes the form large cats or small birds. A black panther, a snow leopard, a lynx, a northern pygmy owl, a Madagascar kestrel, and a Costa hummingbird are her most popular. When she's in a state of severe emotion, though, she sometimes bursts into the form of a dove or fox (both white) without warning.
Sophia-Michelle can fuck with people's heads. It's not that she can read your mind or mess with your memories, though. What she can do is hard to explain, and harder to understand, even to her. When she's using her power, it can be bad or good; it's almost like being on drugs. She can make you go crazy- whether it be a painful, kill-the-world type of crazy, the delusional rainbows-and-butterflies, let's-all-fly-away kind, or anything in between. She can get you high, or put you in pain.
ACADEMIC HIGHS & LOWS :: She's pretty good at learning new languages, so she does well in French class; plus, it doesn't hurt that she finds the teacher amazingly attractive. She considers herself not so good at algebra and terrible at chemistry, but she works her butt off and usually comes off with at least high B's. In swimming and flying, she does fabulous; mysteriously, though, she does better in swimming than in flying. She takes Miscellaneous Art, and usually does well in that, too; the only time she gets less than an A is when she turns in an assignment late. Choir is considered a bird course in her book, and she gets by just fine so long as she shows up and actually participates.
GPA :: 3.9-4.1, depending on when you catch her.
TALENTS :: Color coordination is one of Sophia-Michelle's best attributes. Whether it be for paintings, web sites, tattoos, or flower arrangements- she's always had an eye for good color combinations.
Language is something she's always prided herself in, as she has quite a way with words. Expressing herself through various languages is something she's good at. Writing poetry, songs, and short stories are some good things that come from this. Of course, then there's the above brutal tongue lashings she can hand out when she finds it necessary, and for others, these can be a bit less of a good thing.

PERSONALITY :: Sophia-Michelle is shy when you first meet her, but she's a party girl at heart. In her world, you only get one chance at life, and for all you know, it could end in a second; so you should have as much fun as you possibly can in this short life. Of course, that doesn't mean go so wild with partying that you aren't really happy- only do what you enjoy. If you want nothing more than to curl up with a book, she says you should. If what you find fun is hanging by a bungee cord from a bridge, upside down, in your underwear, while people in boats throw banana peels at your chest, go right ahead. Whatever works for you; but don't do something stupid just to make others happy.
Thoroughly believing in self expression, she won't stand for anyone being deprived of their word in something, or being discriminated against because of their looks. Still, she also believes that you should put effort into your looks, so if she feels like someone is simply being lazy and sloppy when it comes to style and physique, she will immediately pull them aside for a make over.
Though she normally doesn't seem like it, Sophia-Michelle is a delicate soul. She's easily hurt, and is pretty empathetic. Still, she hides it well.
Most of her time is spent either studying or partying; she crams as much into her life as possible, but if she starts to feel over-loaded, she will almost always take a little break for herself without much pushing.

HISTORY :: Sophia-Michelle Akinya Hendricks was born into a large family. With two older brothers and no younger cousins or anything, she was the baby of the family, and by the time she was only a few months old, she knew she could get anything she wanted from any of her many relatives. Of course, back then her wants were a lot simpler. Still, she was a spoiled little girl, and her parents did nothing to stop it; they adored their baby girl, and so did their sons, Henry and Liam. No one could say she was attention starved.
By the age of three, she had already developed her fun loving personality. She spent all her time getting into some sort of trouble, and even with all her relatives hanging around, it was hard to keep up with her at times. By the age of five, she was almost always found on the roof, or not found at all because she had wandered off without permission again. When asked why she kept leaving when her elders told her not to, she simply tilted her head, gave a confused expression, and said, “There’s a reason I’m in my head instead of Mommy and Daddy.” With her own unique views on things, and her innocent charm, she stuck herself into the hearts of many. Then when she was nearly six, her little sister was born.
Daniella Jeniqua Hendricks. The name struck hatred and a whole lot of jealousy into dear Sophia-Michelle for the first few years of her life. What right had that little pest to just waltz in and steal her thunder? But when Soph was seven, and Daniella two, the girls were left alone in the nursery. Long story short, Daniella started choking on a Lego, and Sophia-Michelle saved her sister’s life. From that day forward, the two were quite a pair.
Things went on pretty well for the years to come, until Chelly reached the age of nine. Her big brothers were always overly protective of her, especially Liam. So when a little boy that lived down the street kissed her, no one was surprised when Liam hit him. What did surprise onlookers was how far the 11 year old went. By the time Henry, Sophia-Michelle, and a few other kids from the neighborhood pulled the boys apart, both boys were covered in blood and starting to bruise up. Fi-fi snuck her brother into the house through the back door, leaving Henry behind to sort everything else out. She brought Liam into the bathroom to help him clean up, and scolding him all the while. If not for what happened next, she might have gone on all night; but then he smashed his lips against hers. Liam. Her brother. Soph pushed him away in disgust, and, shocked, stormed out of the room and locked herself in her bedroom for the rest of the night. The next day, she pretended like nothing happened, and it seemed that according to everyone else, that was exactly the case.
Sophia-Michelle’s life came crashing down a couple years later, when she was eleven. She hasn’t told anyone what happened that night. All anyone who wasn’t there knows, is that when it started, she could be heard screaming and crying in her brothers’ bedroom. Her grandpa Peter and Henry ran into the room, there was a lot of yelling, banging, and crashing, and then Peter walked back out, dragging a half naked Liam behind him. Before anyone could stop them, Peter and the boy were in the car and fading into the distance. Back in the bedroom, Sophia-Michelle was curled up into a ball, tears streaming down her face, shaking with sobs and leaning into the chest of Henry, who was sitting on the ground next to her. Soon, the room was filled with family, and worried phone calls were being made to everyone who wasn’t present. Her uncle Oskar and aunt Jessica were sent out to Peter’s cottage to look for him. A few hours later, they returned with grief-stricken faces. The adults gathered in the family room, while Sophia-Michelle, Henry, Daniella, and their cousins sat silently in the nursery. Meanwhile, their beloved grandmother Joulai collapsed.
They lost three family members that day, and since then, family get-togethers have been few and far between. Sophia-Michelle's father could hardly stand to look at her; as far as she knows, it's because he blames her for everything that happened. When she turned 14, he started paying her to stay out of the house. Nowadays, though she tries to stay close to the rest of her family, she only goes home when she knows her father is gone and will be for quite some time. She only sees anyone but immediate family when she hunts them down or sees her cousins around town; with the exception of her great-grandmother, Matilda, who she visits every now and then, and writes letters to almost every week.
