Class
Classes are how students rank at Kuramia Academy. Power level [0-5], how common (or rare) their abilities/mutations are [1-4], and grades [0.1-4.5] all help determine someones rank. Class A is the highest, Class D the lowest.
A certain number of points is given for each category, and the averaged out score is what places an individual in their Class.
CLASS A: 3.9 - 4.5
CLASS B: 2.8 - 3.8
CLASS C: 1.6 - 2.7
CLASS D: 0.4 - 1.5
Cliques
The Royals
These are the girls and boys that rules the school. Mostly made up of Class As, they're beautiful, smart, and powerful. They wear all the best clothes, and get the best treatment. They're also known to be vain and a bit stuck up.
Leader: Missy Davis, female
The Jocks
Mostly guys, these are the sporty kids. They tend to have high level strength and endurance related 'gifts', and put them to use often. These kids make up pretty much every sports team but swimming.
Leader: David Hendrix, male
Hangout: The courtyard
The Brains
Books and grades rule them; these are the nerds of the school. They tend to have high level knowledge and learning related 'gifts', and spend a lot of time studying. Many are teacher pets.
Hangout: The library
The Techies
One of the smaller cliques, they often mingle with The Brains. Mainly Technopaths and students with electricity/technology related 'Gifts'.
Leader: Stark McKay, male
Hangout: The computer lab
The Theatrics
A bigger clique than most, with a lot of sub-groups, these are the actors & actresses, singers, musicians, and dancers of the school. Usually beautiful and active, but they focus more on theater than grades or social status.
Leaders: Diana (actress, female) and Nick (singer/dancer, male) Valenzuela
Hangout: The auditorium
The Burnouts
The druggies; whether it be the basics like Mary Jane, Acid, and Coke, or the 'special' drugs that come from the mutated minds and powers of Gifteds, these kids are on them all. They're usually low in social standing and Class, but they host the best parties.
The Wordies
Full of poets, writers, and musicians, this is the most openly 'emotional' of the cliques. Omni-linguists, multi-linguists, empaths, mediums, and psychics are popular here.
Hangout: Waterfall Pond
The Darks
Sort of like the stereotype of Goth, these kids are in touch with everything dark. 'Black magic', curses, night time; pretty much anything spooky is their specialty. Shadow related abilities are popular with them, they dress in black- they are who you go to with questions about anything dark and demented.
Leader: Marcus Nezowa, male
Hangout: The padded room
The Kandies
They're childish, but partiers. They dress in bright colors, wear lots of jewelry, have funky colored hair, carry around pacifiers and stuffed animals, and mostly act like little kids- but they also drink, do drunks, and party like there's no tomorrow.
Hangout: Tea room/courtyard
The Rebels
These are the kids that're always in trouble. They believe the world should change, they have no respect for authority, they fight the system. They range from tree-hugging protesters to bullies that just don't want to listen.
Leaders: Jessica Mitchell (tree-hugging protester, female) and Landon Turner (bully, male).
The Drifters
These are the kids that don't fit into one specific clique. They have no boundries when it comes to making friends, and tend to hop from group to group.
