Literacy is a must. Write complete sentences, using proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling. Use paragraph format; I don't ever want to see one-liners here, or even two-liners, because we all know they're pretty much the same thing. Give us something to work with in your posts, and don't make it hard to understand.
If you are not confident in your spelling ability, there is a spell check button at the bottom of the posting page- use it.
If your character speaks a different language, even if it's a made up one, please put a translation at the end of your post.
-TWO-
Be polite and courteous. Fights and stuff in character is fine -encouraged, even- but out of character, we all need to get along, or at least pretend to. No power playing or god moding. Sadly, this does limit the abilities your character can have, but only by a little; no mind control, excessive mind reading, or anything that might give you the power to control other people's characters without their permission.
There must be limits to what your characters can do, or it won't be fair. For example; if your character must be able to read minds, have it so that it only works when they have skin-to-skin contact with someone, or something to that sort. Absolutely no Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Everyone is flawed, your characters should be, too.
-THREE-
There is no limit on how many characters you can play as of yet, but don't take on more than you can handle- you need to keep up with all of them.
For each character, you must apply with the application provided. You should also set up an individual account for each character you play. When creating the character's account, be sure to make that account's display name your character's name.
-FOUR-
A lot of people use pictures of pretty people for Myspace or Facebook for their roleplay characters. For now, I ask that you not do so. There are plenty of celebrities and models out there to choose from, so, please, use one of them.
Make sure that whoever you choose is not taken, however; unless they're identical twins, two characters should not look exactly alike. So, head over to the face claim and claim your face before someone else does!
[This means every character should have a face claim, by the way.]
